today i was sitting on a bench sketching and waiting for my bus to arrive, my ipod was frozen (again) but i like to keep my headphones in anyway so people don’t bother me. a girl walked by me holding a pizza box and a drink. her mom called out to her from across the road, she GROOANED and before she went off she turned to me and handed me her pizza box for me to keep an eye on.

i sat there drawing and waiting for her return and when she did, she slipped a dollar bill out of her pocket and handed it to me as a thanks. i said no way, please don’t worry about it! she insisted but all i did was sit there drawing butts, not really anything worth a dollar. she started telling me how she doodles and how she wished she studied more, and would doodle more, to “do like i do”. at this point i had flipped to any other page but unfortunately i draw boobs and butts a lot more than i thought i did.

she told me she worked, i said i do school, then she talked again how she wish she doodled more. she asked if a drawing i had done of penny was “me”. i said no, but she insisted. the funny part was, there actually was a drawing of me under the penny….

she then got really coy and asked if she could give me her number. so now i have a random girl named “C“‘s number written in my sketchbook…. i don’t know what to do with it?
