Wow really? The tags that were on this were ridiculous. Things like “imaginary girlfriends”, “nerds”, “Weeabo”, and “made-up majors” among them.

“Useless major,” eh? Films don’t ever need storyboard artists to help save money on expensive shots before actually committing to them?  Yeah, no one needs ad boards for commercials or advertisements either. Or is this just a giant smack in the face to comics? Comics aren’t anymore “useless” than films or any other entertainment media. Comics offer images, dialogue, and storytelling. Every panel, and every page requires a hand directed in proper design for it to be effective and well told with camera angles similar to those used in cinematography. So unless we’re going to say film or advertisement are useless too, I think it’s time to take a seat.

i’m looking at OP’s blog, it’s entirely devoted to posting SCAD related things with tags that say things like “SCAD makes you unique” “hipster” “black people” and such

Guys guys let’s all chill out here and remember that this guy/gal is totally going to make something of him/herself by posting a bunch of strangely-worded and passive-aggressive photomanips that subtly communicate the hopelessness and frustration he or she feels every day that other people are enjoying learning and growing in a challenging and competitive environment that he or she feels isolated and removed from.

This whole tumblr blog is totally going to be worth it, you guys.
